Born in the Midwest, established in L.A., and living in Miami, Cole Knight’s talents are the product of the U.S.’s great electronic music footprint. Her music is a result of years dedicated to developing her skills as a DJ, producer, and vocalist. Her first release was a remix of Diplo and Miguel’s Grammy nominated single “Don’t Forget My Love” on his storied Higher Ground label in 2022.
Cole soon began making waves and touring the international circuit with her eccentric style blending groovy house, playful breakbeats, massive basslines and trippy detours into acid and techno. Knight already checked off playing Coachella, Jamie Jones’ Paradise and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode showcases as well as legendary brick-and-mortar clubs throughout the world including Miami’s legendary Club Space terrace, KOKO London and Amnesia Ibiza.
2023 proved to be Knight’s most formidable year when she returned to Higher Ground to release her groove-laden two-track E.P., Keep It Cute. The self-named single’s stripped-down, bouncy beat and Knight’s cool, calm, and commanding voice became a raver’s delight on the dance floor. Ben Sterling’s remix of “Keep It Cute” further ignited the hype around the single while DJs like Marco Carola and Solomun kept the track in steady rotation during their sets. The year saw Cole’s touring schedule increase significantly, finding herself sharing lineups with the likes of Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Diplo, Romy XX, Apollonia, Marco Carola and Black Coffee.
In the coming years, listeners can expect Knight to continue honing her craft in the studio, working on E.P.s solo or with international collaborators, and incorporating full-fledge singing alongside her lost-in-the-club forays into spoken word. Knight harbors a high energy old-school raver spirit with a forward-thinking artist mindset. When combined with her synergy behind the decks, it is no doubt the in-demand artist will continue to find herself a regular at the world’s best events.
