Labelled a “fast rising talent” by Ibiza’s renowned ANTS, a “breaking artist” by Top 100 club Printworks, and an “up & coming rising star” by global phenomenon elrow, international recognition blossoms for the UK native, London-based, Greek Cypriot DJ & Producer, as her name is pinned high on the lists of ones to watch.
In 2021, she secured a residency with the world’s most in-demand club brand, elrow, through the brand’s eminent search to find breakthrough talent. She rapidly became a sought-after face and sound around the globe, which is reflected in the calibre of established clubbing brands and institutions recurring in her touring schedule; Ushuaïa, Printworks London, The Warehouse Project, Amnesia, Fabrik Madrid and Ministry of Sound. Bold, warm-hearted and daring; in an industry so competitive, FLORENTIA’s demeanour paired with her rolling, deep tech, groove-injected sets, led her to share the same stages as industry giants Jamie Jones; Hot Since 82; Patrick Topping; Archie Hamilton; and Idris Elba to name a few.
Further to her success, 2022 saw FLORENTIA land debuts in Ibiza’s superclubs for numerous leading brands. She became a strong presence on the island throughout the season, and was amongst the reputable artists selected by BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, to play alongside him during his Amnesia residency. From Spain, to Italy to Dubai, her sound has carried her across all major parts of the UK, Europe and beyond; the inimitable talent is now setting her sights on other corners of the world.
Surrounded by an all-encompassing musical environment her entire life, FLORENTIA became enamoured with underground electronic music during her teenage years. However, her devotion for house music was sparked at a young age, listening to her parents’ 80’s and 90’s house. Her passion for music led her to study ‘Music Production & Sound Engineering’ at London’s renowned Point Blank Music School, where she spent her young adulthood developing her prowess, cutting her teeth in London’s underground scene, and living and breathing the world she is now part of. Her knowledge and passion even impressed powerhouse label, Defected Records, and she joined the institution before becoming a touring artist. She is now championed as one of Point Blank’s most highly-recognised graduates alongside Patrick Topping and Pete Tong.
With all this achieved at the tender age of 24, FLORENTIA continues to navigate life with a natural boldness to achieve what she sets out to. From growing up as a young athlete, always believing “the sky is the limit”, her hard work, determination and unquestionable talent promise longevity in the electronic music scene .
