Glasgow native, La La has solidified herself as a prominent fixture at some of the world’s most exciting parties. Her hard work and dedication, born over years of solo world-touring, popular radio shows, and label work encouraging the artists of tomorrow, has brought to her the respect of many in the world of electronic dance music.
After almost a decade of learning her craft in the clubs and festivals of Scotland, La La hit the ground running on the international circuit in 2019, regularly playing at world-renowned clubs and festivals, before launching a family of record labels. Now with a global audience, having toured extensively across Europe, Asia and Australia, at institutions such as Fabric London, Circoloco Ibiza, Lost Sundays Sydney and Awakenings Amsterdam to name a few, festival slots at Glastonbury, Awakenings, Les Nuit Sonores and Hideout, as well as selling out her own headlining parties in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Dublin.
La La’s weekly radio shows on Rinse FM, broadcasts on Boiler Room & Mixmag Lab, and guest appearances on BBC Radio One have cemented her as an authority on dance music. This culminated in her taking the coveted Radio 1 residency in September 2023, providing four curated shows to an international audience. After launching Brand New Records as an imprint to empower Scottish artists, and then starting sister-label Sound As – an outlet for great music beyond Scotland. La La’s love of curation is demonstrated on her debut release ‘give yourself a try’, a 10 track mixtape released via her own Brand New Records imprint in 2023, which has been played in clubs and on radio stations around the world. 2024 seen remixes of each track released with 10 artists including Skream, Chloe Robinson & DJ ADHD, Amaliah, Denham Audio and more. Following this remixes for Borai & Denham Audio’s Make Me as well as Jade’s Angel of my Dreams ended the year on a high.
La La’s latest EP on Interplanetary Criminal’s ATW Records was released 21st February 2025, with support from some of the industry’s most exciting names includ- ing Ahadadream, DJ HEARTSTRING, Ewan McVicar, Dr. Banana, Sally C, Ben UFO, Solomun and much much more. In 2024 La La was made the face of Adidas Originals, with promotion across all major European countires, and a wall mural in her native Glasgow. Through a culmination of over a decade’s work in music, she is shaping her own path through the industry, and has firmly placed herself on the map.
