Netherlands-based DJ and producer Semmi Amdouni is part of a new wave of artists coming through the Dutch underground, developing a sound built around groove-driven house, rolling rhythms and infectious basslines.
His productions combine weighty basslines, crisp percussion and playful details with a clear focus on the dancefloor, and are increasingly finding their way into the sets of established selectors. Semmi's music has picked up support from Jamie Jones, SOSA, East End Dubs, Rossi., Max Dean, Prospa, Chloe Caillet, Obskür and Riordan, building momentum around his productions both in the Netherlands and further afield.
His catalogue has grown quickly alongside that support. Early releases "Keep On Dancin'" and "Ya Money" have accumulated more than 297,000 and 320,000 streams respectively, helping take his catalogue just shy of 1 million streams in a very short space of time.
2026 has seen Semmi continue to build on that momentum with a run of new music, including The Pharmacist EP on Flâneur Music, which picked up support from Jamie Jones, Ilario Alicante, Max Dean and Obskür, followed by his Needed You EP on Laguna Records, which also earned a feature from DJ Mag. Further releases have followed through DENSER, alongside more new music in the pipeline.
Alongside his growing output as a producer, Semmi has been establishing himself behind the decks across the Netherlands, with appearances at Warehouse Elementenstraat, Het Sieraad and Colorado Charlie, as well as parties including Société, Cuckoo's Nest, VYBZ and Fusion.
Behind the decks, his sets move between house, minimal and more driving club records, balancing deeper selections with energetic, groove-heavy moments and an emphasis on keeping the dancefloor moving.
With a growing catalogue, increasing support from across the house circuit and plenty of new music on the way, Semmi is continuing to build from his already impressive foundations in the Netherlands towards a wider presence across the European club circuit.
