MVSON

MVSON

All three members of Mason Collective met in their late teens, finding common ground in their tastes, outlook and ambitions. They realised that, collectively, they could achieve a lot more than they were individually and, with their shared vision, joined forces and cut their teeth as young promoters with their party MVSON.

MVSON first found a home at Sankeys, where they hosted a wide range of top-tier artists from the worlds of house and techno. Key to Mason Collective’s ethos is to create experiences, nights that those on the dance floor will remember, and talk about, for years afterwards. This vision has resulted in flamboyant, conceptual parties, where the decor and dress code reflect a particular theme; from Miami Vice to Caribbean themes, with stage builds and an unbridled atmosphere which focuses on fun first and foremost.

The trio have performed with an assortment of headliners booked to reflect their broad sonic palette. Parallel to this, the crew also ensure that the venues they acquire are fresh and original, often one-off, unique locations. Hosting their own party at the huge Warehouse Project for Halloween, they transformed the room and brought in a crew of 50 performers along with 3D stage mapping.

Also crucial to their parties is the notion of inclusivity. For years door policies at some of Manchester’s clubs were restrictive and narrow minded, meaning a large section of the city’s music lovers were denied entry. Having experienced this first-hand, Blair, Adam and Omar made it their mission to open up their party to anyone who wanted to join them.

Tapping into the inclusive roots of house music, and reflecting their city’s diverse demographic, it’s an outlook that makes MVSON one of Manchester’s most vibrant and dynamic parties. The atmosphere is second to none, encouraging togetherness and uninhibited self expression. The energy, creativity and exemplary music policy has made their long-running party one of the city’s most talked about and well-attended events.

Fast forward ten years and Mason Collective have cultivated an inclusive party brand that is more popular than ever, igniting their city’s nightlife. Fueled by a desire to cultivate an open, inclusive scene, while instigating unadulterated, uninhibited party vibes, Mason Collective are at the forefront of progressive movement that draws on their combined lineage to uphold the core ethos of rave culture: community, inclusivity, unity, positive energy and everlasting memories.

MVSON events, each with a unique theme and fashion led dress code have rapidly grown to become one of the most renowned underground parties in Manchester. The party concept breathes a new life into events, MVSON hosts smaller intimate summer garden parties up to 1000 people and large scale warehouse events up to 5000. With a loyal following the brand is now expanding across the UK and USA hosting various takeovers and festival stages.
